Key Responsibilities
Supporting Resident Mobility
- Assist residents in participating in physical activities and exercise programs.
- Work closely with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Wellbeing Consultants.
- Help residents access different areas of the facility, including outdoor spaces.
Enhancing Resident Engagement
- Facilitate participation in social events and activities.
- Provide one-on-one support to residents to encourage independence.
- Ensure a comfortable and inclusive environment for all residents.
Required Qualifications & Skills
What We’re Looking For
- Valid working rights in Australia.
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, Health & Leisure, Ageing Support, or Individual Support.
- A genuine passion for person-centered care.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to engage with residents and build positive relationships.
