Your Role
As a Support Worker Campbelltown NSW, you will provide essential support to women and families facing domestic violence and crisis situations. Your responsibilities include assisting new clients upon entry, supporting daily refuge operations, and fostering a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver trauma-informed, client-centered support.
- Assist with client assessments and case plan implementation.
- Ensure compliance with WHS standards.
- Maintain accurate client records and collaborate with case managers.
- Provide advocacy, transportation, and support for clients as needed.
What You Need
- Certificate or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Strong communication and crisis management skills.
- Ability to work a rotating roster including afternoon shifts.
- First Aid & Safe Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid NSW Driver’s License.
