Key Responsibilities

As a Boilermaker/Welder at Roomi Pty Ltd, your primary duties will include:

• Surface Preparation: Using acidic solutions to clean and prepare surfaces for finishing. citeturn0search0
• Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and interpreting complex drawings and blueprints to determine job requirements. citeturn0search0
• Metal Bending: Performing precision bending of metal parts to meet project specifications. citeturn0search0
• Finishing Operations: Grinding and chiseling to clean welds in preparation for painting. citeturn0search0

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrate:

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years working as a Boilermaker/Welder.
• Blueprint Proficiency: Advanced ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints.
• Licensing: A current forklift license.
• Equipment Familiarity: Experience with various tools and machinery, including but not limited to:
• Makita drills, saws, and grinders.
• Cobra oxy-acetylene gas brazing torch.
• Cigweld oxy-acetylene gas cutting torch.
• Unimig Razorweld 200K and Razor Multi230.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Equipment Familiarity: Experience with various tools and machinery, including but not limited to

Remuneration

The total remuneration package for this permanent, full-time position is up to $99,235, comprising a base salary ranging from $83,000 to $89,000, plus 11.5% superannuation.
