Role Overview

As the Assistant Director Audit Assurance, you will:

  • Lead Audit Operations: Provide strategic leadership to the audit team, ensuring the effective execution of regulatory audit and assurance activities.
  • Develop Assurance Frameworks: Oversee the creation and maintenance of frameworks that support the Regulatory Assurance Strategy, ensuring alignment with DAFF’s objectives.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, industry bodies, and clients, to enhance audit processes and address compliance issues.
  • Manage Technical Support: Ensure auditors have access to accurate and timely technical advice, serving as the liaison between the Audit Assurance Branch and national programs.

Qualifications and Experience
