Electrical Engineering Technician – Crushing and Screening Equipment Oldbury

We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team based in Perth, WA. The Electrical Engineering Technician will work under the leadership of a team leader to perform tasks related to PLC programming, electrical installation, and fault finding for mobile crushing, screening, and conveying equipment. This role requires working independently with a strong focus on quality and safety. Candidates should possess advanced knowledge of electrical systems and regulations, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Electrical Engineering Technician Oldbury

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct tests of electrical systems and diagnose faults.
• Prepare drawings, plans, and diagrams for electrical installations and circuits.
• Modify and repair electrical equipment and motor control systems.
• Perform electrical workshop duties, including installing assemblies for protection relays and metering devices.
• Assist in the research, design, manufacture, and maintenance of mobile crushing and screening equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with mobile crushing and screening equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Mechanical skills are considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical trade qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and fault diagnosis.
