Your Role as a Midwifery Educator
As a Midwifery Educator, you will play a pivotal role in fostering excellence in postnatal unit midwifery practice. You will support clinical education, mentor graduate and undergraduate midwives, and ensure evidence-based practices are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate midwifery education programs for students and graduate midwives
- Support staff in professional development and competency assessments
- Provide hands-on clinical teaching in the postnatal unit
- Develop and implement midwifery education initiatives
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training and hospital policies

Requirements
- Registered Midwife with AHPRA registration
- Minimum 8 years of senior midwifery experience
- Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment & Training (TAE)
