About the Position

An immediate start is available for this Senior Payroll Officer Sydney position. This is an initial 3-month contract with a strong possibility of extension or transitioning into a more stable role. Reporting directly to the Payroll Team Leader, you will play a key role in improving payroll processes and training your team members.

Duties

• Manage end-to-end payroll functions
• Process fortnightly payroll for permanent, temporary, and casual staff
• Conduct payroll calculations, taxation, and reconciliations
• Address complex payroll inquiries from employees

Skills & Experience

• 4-5 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll processing
• Proficiency with SAP & EC Payroll
• Preferred experience in Local Council payroll management
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Remuneration

• $60 – $65 per hour + Superannuation
