Job Responsibilities

Scientific Research and Policy Development
- Provide expert advice on marine biodiversity and environmental sustainability.
- Contribute to policy development through scientific research and data analysis.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead a team to execute marine science initiatives.
- Work with government agencies, research institutions, and community groups to achieve environmental goals.

Essential Qualifications and Conditions
- A tertiary qualification in environment, conservation, or a related NRM discipline is required.
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to undergo four-wheel-drive training.
- Ability to participate in fire management duties and travel as required.
Contract Details
- Remuneration: PO3 – $101,285 min – $107,078 max p.a.
- Merit recruitment pool with appointments within a 12-month period.
