In this role as an IT Support and QA Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing support procedures, solving problems, and providing technical expertise in a test environment. This candidate should be able to solve testing-related issues effectively. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an IT Support and QA Officer.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

System Testing and Validation

• Conduct testing and validation of IT systems, including PLC touch screen controls on COUNTEC DMC-60S Tablet Counting Machine and Tronics Labelling Machines, ensuring operational accuracy and system performance.
• Develop and execute test plans for system upgrades, software patches, and security enhancements to maintain a stable and high-performing IT environment.

Troubleshooting and Debugging

• Assist in debugging and troubleshooting software issues, working closely with developers and engineers to identify and resolve system vulnerabilities.
• Diagnose software, network, and hardware issues, ensuring minimal downtime for critical business operations.

System Maintenance and Improvement

• Investigate system failures and inefficiencies, documenting findings and recommending improvements to enhance IT infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and root cause analysis for critical IT issues, ensuring prompt resolution and system stability.

System Integration and Data Management

• Integrate packaging equipment and IT systems to improve data flow, system compatibility, and operational efficiency.
• Manage data migration tasks, ensuring integrity and continuity of email databases, user data, and system configurations.

Compliance and Documentation

• Monitor system performance, implementing proactive maintenance strategies to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure software and system compliance with industry standards, conducting periodic security audits and risk assessments.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system tests, debugging procedures, and performance analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create and install batch and expiry coding formats using CLARISOFT software, validating accuracy before deployment on production lines.
• Develop technical documentation for system troubleshooting, software testing procedures, and IT workflows.

Training and Development

• Deliver training sessions on system testing, IT infrastructure maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques to improve staff efficiency.
