Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet and assist customers face-to-face and over the phone.
- Provide updates on vehicle repair progress and estimated completion times.
- Ensure outstanding customer service by understanding client needs.
Administrative Duties
- Create accurate quotes and invoices.
- Process payments and maintain customer records.
- Coordinate workshop schedules and liaise with mechanics, tyre technicians, and wheel aligners.
- Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle status and upcoming services.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure smooth operations.
- Liaise with technicians and workshop staff to manage workloads.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional team environment.
Skills & Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 2+ years’ experience as a Service Advisor OR experience as a mechanic looking to transition into a customer-facing role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with automotive service software.
- Full Australian working rights.
