About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Recreation Coordinator to develop and coordinate engaging recreation programs tailored to our residents’ individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate engaging recreational programs.
- Support and supervise the recreation team in program development.
- Encourage residents to maintain social connections and community engagement.
- Maintain accurate and relevant documentation of activities.
- Promote available recreational opportunities within the community.
What We Need From You
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Experience in the aged care sector or a relevant degree in Leisure and Lifestyle, Psychology, or Community Development.
- A valid driver’s license (mandatory).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
- Experience working with older individuals and planning recreational programs.
- Strong knowledge of local resources and community groups.
