We are currently seeking a Disability Support Worker in Manilla to provide high-quality care for a 20-year-old male participant with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). This role involves assisting with daily tasks, rehabilitation support, and community access.
About the Role
This is a casual, ongoing position with immediate start. The role includes both morning and afternoon shifts, with extensive paid training provided.
Shift Hours:
- Morning: 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM
- Afternoon: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Flexible scheduling Monday to Sunday
Mileage incentives are available for travel to and from shifts, depending on location.
Competitive Pay Rates:
- Day Shift: $38.75 per hour
- Afternoon Shift: $42.63 per hour
- Saturday: $54.25 per hour
- Sunday: $69.75 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Assistance with personal care and toileting
- PEG feeding (preferred but not essential)
- Support with community access and rehabilitation exercises
- Medication administration and skin integrity management
- Manual handling and domestic assistance
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Current National Police Clearance & NDIS Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module & Effective Communication Module
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Medical Administration Training Certificate
- Australian Driver’s License
- Current Working with Children’s Check
