About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial part in assisting consumers to live independently and achieve personal goals. You will work closely with individuals in their homes and communities, helping them build confidence and engage in activities that improve their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include providing transport, assisting with daily tasks, and supporting participation in social and community activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support consumers to live independently and reach personal goals.
- Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation and household activities.
- Provide transport to community events, appointments, and social activities.
- Promote positive choices and engagement in local activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines.
What You Need
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve.
- Queensland driver’s license (minimum P1 “C” class).
- Registered, roadworthy, and fully insured vehicle.
- First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Blue Card.
