Responsibilities of a Community Support Worker
As an Adelaide Hills Community Support Worker, your primary duties will include:
- Personal Care Services: Assisting clients with personal hygiene, bathing, showering, toileting, grooming, and continence management.
- Household Assistance: Performing household tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, floor cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Community Support: Providing transportation, shopping assistance, and facilitating therapy services as required.
- Gardening Tasks: Undertaking minor gardening duties, including sweeping, watering, and raking.
- Wellness and Reablement: Supporting clients with mobility aids, pressure care, and medication management under supervision.
Essential Requirements
To qualify as a Worker, you must meet the following criteria:
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

- Empathy for elderly and disabled individuals and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
